Information on lunch, dinner and rooms
When do lectures start and end?
Lectures are scheduled from Monday (7.10.) morning until Friday (11.10.) afternoon. The lecture hall is room 1470 in the first floor of the MZH building.
The last lecture on Friday afternoon ends at 15h15. If you leave campus at about 15h30 you will arrive at the central train station before 15h50 and at the Bremen city airport before 16h15 using the tram way line 6.
There will be two slots in the program where a limited number of participants can present own research, one on Wednesday afternoon and one on Friday morning.
What happens on Sunday evening?
On Sunday evening will be the official start of the summer school. From 18h30 on you can get lecture documentations, lunch vouchers and information materials in room 1460 in the first floor of the MZH building. Further, there will be a buffet for all participants starting at 19h00 in the same location. This will be the official start of the summer school. If you are interested to join, please be on time!
How is the dinner organized during week?
During the week there will be an informal buffet for dinner starting at 18h30 in MZH 1460. On Wednesday after the excursion we will have dinner in a restaurant in town.
We tried to organize the buffet for dinner such that there is enough vegetarian food.
How is the lunch organized during week?
For lunch you will receive vouchers for the university restaurant (Mensa)
worth 8 €. You can use these vouchers to pay at any pay desk of the university restaurant (Mensa). The lunch plan of the Mensa can be found here. Vegetarian food is marked as
How are coffee breaks organized?
Coffee breaks will take place next to the lecture hall. There will be coffee, tea, water and juices, together with snacks and fruits.
