Technical services

The IT infrastructure of the ZeTeM is provided by our technical staff.

• Günter Feldmann with focus on Unix server and computer cluster
• Georg Holtsteger with focus on Windows computer and purchase
• Ingo Jauer with focus on Linux workstation computers and printers

We will help you with all your questions, requests and problems about technical issues. If we are not personally available, you can write us a mail to zetem-service. We will all receive that mail, so that all mails will be noticed, even if one of us is ill or on vacation.

If you should notice a problem, please go to the status website of the department. If the problem is allready listed there, it is been taken care of it. Please contact us otherwise.

If you await a new employee, who is supposed to have an account to the computer system, please fill out this form. If an additional workstation computer is required, please contact us as early as possible. That facilitates our scheduling and reduces waiting time for the new employee. We especially have to know whether the computer is going to be a Linux or Windows system.
