Bild des Projekts Wasserstein-Regulierung in Inversen Problemen und Optimalsteuerungsproblemen The project focuses on the analysis and solution of optimal control problems and inverse problems with Wasserstein regularization. By using the Wasserstein distance as a regularization term, the sparsity of optimal solutions is expected to be improved. The project objectives include the development of algorithms for solving optimization problems with Wasserstein regularization and the numerical solution of prototypical optimal control problems.
